I’m creative, too. I love art, tattoos, graphic design, and coming up with ideas that are different from everybody else’s. I’ve wanted to build something of my own instead of always working for somebody else. There’s a part of me that knows I’m capable of making something real out of my creativity. I love hard. Sometimes probably harder than I should. When I care about somebody, I really care. When somebody I love is hurting, I feel it deeply. And when somebody hurts the people I love, there’s a side of me that comes out real quick. I’ve been hurt, disappointed, and let down. I’ve had people make me question my worth, but I’m still here. I’m still trying. I’m still making plans. I’m still looking for ways to make life better. I’m not perfect. I can be emotional. I can overthink. I can get frustrated when I feel like nobody is listening. Sometimes I probably try to carry way too much by myself. But I’m also resourceful. Give me a problem and I’ll probably take it apart piece by piece until I understand it. Give me something broken and I’ll try to figure out how to fix it. Give me something impossible and I’ll probably still ask, “Okay, but how can we make it work?” I’m still becoming the person I’m supposed to be.
